I finished sewing on the binding and label on this quilt last night about 7:15. I threw it in the washer with a couple of color catchers and DH and I left to be at the rehearsal at 7:30. We went to the rehearsal dinner and got home around 10:50. I threw this in the dryer, after checking to make sure that none of the red ran into the creams and went to bed. This morning I pulled it out of the dryer and took these pictures then stuffed it in a gift bag and ran out the door for the 10:30 am wedding. I don't think I had an extra minute!!! I did forget to go over it real good to get any threads off so I hope there arn't many hanging on!!!

This is the third wedding quilt I finished in the last 3 days. I did not whip them up in that amount of time, just got them finished.

I'm sure they'll love it.

Ooooooh this is so neat. I love the colors, and the quilting just makes it that much more special.

When I make a quilt that I give from both of us I now put
"Made by_Me___, Financed by_My DH_____ ".

Not on all but for ones who understand.

I like that!!! I should add my DH to the label too somehow, cause it is/was a gift from both of us. In fact my DH used to counsel the bride and she was in the college group Bible study that my DH lead in our home. He read scripture in the service today for them.

I love the fabric, they will love it.
