I have a dollshouse, and of course my dolls are quilters, too. ;-)
So "they" created some little quilts during the last years. Flower Garden quilt, 8 x 9 inches, hand sewn and quilted. |
Oh wow, very impressive. I like to do small quilts, but I have not tried a true miniature yet.
I especially like the little trees and houses and the railroad crossing one. |
Dear Steffi,
You are amazing. You should be winning tons of awards for those. They are beautiful and almost unbelievable. Thank you so much for sharing! Love, AshleyO |
Everything is so cute!
|
Wow! I am completely in awe!! If no one has ever tried to work in small scale they may not realize just how careful you have to be and how difficult it can be. Any mistake is highly magnified when working so small and your work is just lovely. I am so impressed!!
What is your favorite tip or secret when working so small? |
Holy cow! Awesome job.
|
They are just wonderful
|
Thank you so much! Iīm happy that you like my minis.
The paper piecing definitively helps a lot to sew precisely. If you really sew on the lines, it canīt go terribly wrong. I leave the paper in until I sewed the blocks together, and take it out when the top is done. For me itīs easier this way. |
