You make these intricate looking blocks seem so do-able.

thanks Bear. I think they are doable for even a beginner. That is the thing about this method that fascinates me. It makes difficult looking designs with easy steps. Some of the "Blocks" like the Wings take a few more steps and so a little more time to do but the steps are really easy to do.

Once you learn the basic Blocks then you can put them in any of the designs. Change the color and make new quilt block looks. I love it! LOL

Pretty Pretty, I should really try the wing block this week. Haven't done one of those yet.

They take a few more steps but it is worth it. The steps are just like the Star Point only you do the each step twice. You make two sets and then sew them together and then cut out the block. I love the illusion it makes of curves. I can't do curves to save my soul!! LOL But this is the easy way to do them!

One of the ladies who came to my retreat in Sept fell in love with the Wing Block. She sat and played and made several 4 patch quilt blocks and was really hooked on them. When you cut your sets apart you end up with one half that you use in this Wings block and the other half has a smaller angle so it has a differant look. This is not used here but you can use it to make a differant block look. If you want to see some I can post them to show the other look. Make any sense or have I confused you?

I love your Boston Star block. I have purchased you wingblock e-book. Just have too many projects in the brain to make time to try them yet. However, I do love their look.

Last year for Christmas I took your star blocks and made little coin purses for all the girls in my family. Everyone loved them.
