How do I go back to some thing that I had posted, to check & reread the messages if I don't remember the date (or the subject) . The notifications are not consistent, I don't think.

How do I go back to some thing that I had posted, to check & reread the messages if I don't remember the date (or the subject) . The notifications are not consistent, I don't think.

At the very top of the screen about in the middle you should see your user name. Click on that and it will take you to your profile. At the left side of that screen you'll see a list of options including Find Latest Posts and Find Latest Started Threads. Click on one of these and it will bring up a list of your posts.
