Default How long do posts stay on the board?

How long do things posted stay on the board? Is everything cleaned off eventually? Or can the poster delete things posted in the past?

I don't want things I've posted in the past to stay out there forever. Times change and some things I've posted I don't want the world to see after I'm gone.

What in the world would you have posted? Just curious...no reply needed. And, yes, the cyber space keeps a record of EVERYTHINGwe post or even delete. Emails come to mind.

If you contact a QB moderator they may be able to help you. Once information is on the net it is out there for the most part. They are trying to legislate in the U.S. some way to remove outdated personal online information I think.

Yes, most stuff stays on the internet. I found a photo of one of my quilts I had posted her under Google photos. It bugs me that quilt store don't delete a post on the web when they no longer carry the fabric.

I hope they hurry up and legislate. I don't think it is good that stuff stays out there forever. There have been problems already.

only a moderator or i can delete posts.
unless there is a compelling reason to remove something, we won't delete anything that doesn't violate policy.

the best approach is to never post anything anywhere you wouldn't want etched in stone.
