Default How to update original posting so everyone knows there was an update

Is there anyway that once we put a posting up and there has been replies that we can put update on such and such page at the beginning so everyone will know there has been an update?
Today I put an update picture into one of my postings but don't know how to let everyone know there was an update?

Thank you

you have to PM a moderator to ask them to do it for you. be sure to include a link to the post and what # post the update is on

I am tech challenged so I usually just post a new thread and put a reference to the old one.

I definitely think this is one area QB could be improved--maybe it will come in future revisions/improvements of the forum--along with a "link to share on FB" logo.

yes there should be something where we could let others know that there is an update without having to inform the moderators.

i can't think of a solution to the "problem" other than asking a moderator to edit your thread's title.
i think Tartan's suggestion is spot on, really.
post a new thread with the updated photo(s), information, etc, and - if you think it necessary - a link to the original thread.
since we can customize the number of posts displayed per page, my page 20 and your page 20 might not bring up the same set of comments, so a title modified to say "update on page [so-and-so] would create confusion for some people.
it's also true that a lot of people wouldn't want to page back and forth [especially within the same thread] between the old and new photos to compare between the original and current status of whatever we are updating. a new thread would attract more viewers.
