Thread: How to Upload (Post) Photos

1. Make sure you have prepared and resized your photo files for efficient upload and viewing. Doing that will make things easier for you and for others who view your photos.

2. Whether creating a new Thread (aka Topic) or posting a reply within a Thread, once you get to the edit window, look up and locate the Image icon:


3. Now, making sure you are at the "From Computer" tab, click to start browsing your computer to find the photo you want to insert into the post:


4. Find and select your photo file:


5. Now, click on "Upload File(s)"


6. Whoop! There it is!


We can add up to 10 photos per individual post.

When we use the Image icon method (inserts photos), we can surround them with text.

text on top.
text to the left. text to the right.
text underneath.

If we use the "Attach" process (using the little PaperClip icon) the process is almost the same. The difference is that "attached" photos will display as a Thumbnails at the end of post text ... as does the example below.

This is really great.
I just discovered something while trying instructions ...

When I uploaded my pic, and before I clicked on submit post, the small version of the pic in the typing box is double-clickable. A picture edit box comes up with several choices…

Title
Description
Style

Photo's on standard also. Still can not up load pictures. Why did the (programmers) change all the formats? Couldn't some things remain the same?

Trying again. Can't find the edit window your talking about. Or the attachments. Fustrating. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Unfortunately, there are no visual labels or icons on any of the boxes for what you're looking for. Well, there is for "font" and "size", but none of the others. Do you see those two? If so, place your mouse over all the other ones, and within a second or two, a description of what each one does will appear. Try again, and let me know if you find it !

HA! I just went and looked at Patrice's tutorial that started this thread....her screenshot DOES have the standard icons on the buttons for all the tasks....I gotta figure out why I'm not seeing them, maybe others aren't either and that's what is confusing to people!

Yes! I don't have that either! No fonts or size! My husband is very hands on with the computer and he can't find this either! I appreciate what your doing! Thanks!
