Default malicious site?

I'm pretty sure the problem is on my end but asking anyway. Today when I come here I'm warned this is a malicious site. I've been coming here for probably a year with no problem but I'm told that a site can have problems. Does anyone else get this?

We had this same message on this site and a few others today. Research revealed the message came from this site and the others, too. So it is an ad of some kind and that isn't nice.

When this has come up in the past, the moderators have asked that you send a screen shot to them so they can better research the problem.

Well, how rude! Lol! We might be sneaky, but never malicious!

I was getting a message on this site that it may be infected or some such stuff. Probably for 3-4 weeks off and on, I would close it and go back in. I haven't seen it for a long time. Supposedly it was from my security program. There isn't any maliciousness here. If you do anything other than close this window, you may end up with a virus or trojan.

Ive also had this message once or twice over the past few weeks when coming to this site. If I close the window and come back then the msg is gone. I am thinking that perhaps its one bad ad on the ad server that only comes up occasionally.

yes, please send a screen-shot and any other details you can remember.
email it to [email protected]

the board itself is 100% safe, but they have had to block some ads recently.
if this is a new problem they will want to know.

I haven't had this message, but in case I get it, how would I do this? I'm relatively illiterate on the computer and have no idea what to do.
