Default New Quilter and to this site

I am wondering if there is some way I can bookmark certain messages that I would like to save for future reference.

Sure. Right above the first post on the right side, click on "thread tools" then on "subscribe". Later you can access your subscribed threads from any page by clicking on "quick links" in the strip right below the header.

Posting to a thread as I am doing now also automatically puts the thread into my "quick links".

I prefer to copy and paste in Open Office or something similar to Notepad.
Save it in a folder with a meaningful name like "Quilting Tips" so you can
find it later. When you bookmark something there's a great chance that it
gets moved or deleted. JMHO
