Default Posting a PDF

Is it possible to post a PDF file on here? It seems like I should know this but can't find any info on it. Thanks!

yes, .pdf is an accepted file form. I'm assuming it is a pdf that you wrote yourself and not one written by another person, which would be posted by a link to its location. thanks for checking.

to "post" a PDF, use the paperclip icon.
that attaches it to your post so others can open and/or download it to their own computers.

if you don't see the paperclip icon, click on "Go Advanced" and you'll find it.

Thanks for answering Nan and Patrice.

Yes it is one of my own files

Ok frustrated here!!!! LOL I have tried to add the PDF file through the manage attachments a couple of diff times. I tried just now to attach it with the paper clip. It keeps telling me the file failed.

I redid the PDF to see if the path of the file was a problem. didn't help. So what am I doing wrong?

When I first tried yesterday I did attach a diff Pdf and it worked just fine.

I checked the file size. Allowed size is 5.72 MB and my file is 2.57 MB so tell me I am not crazy. this should work.
It's not like I haven't done this before on here LOL

Sorry you are having so much trouble. I tested with many different sizes of pdf quilt patterns that I have. The largest one that would upload is 1.32 MB.

well, since you were able to attach a different file i have to go with the assumption that there's something "wrong" with the one you can't get to upload.

despite the stated file size max, maybe the system won't actually accommodate a file your size. i am stumped.

Ok thanks to both of you. I'll have to think about how to address this problem with the file. I appreciate your help.

I took some pics out of the original file and was successful in getting it down to 1.60 and it loaded just fine. Thanks so much for your help Patrice and Nan.
