Can't start new thread.
 

I'm unable to start a new thread. I have posted once and it worked. Got great advice which I really appreciated.

I have tried several times to post on the Main area over the past couple weeks. I always get the following message:

You do not have permission to create tags. You may only use existing tags.

If this actually posts, any ideas about who I contact. My Posting permissions indicate I can start a new thread, but I'm not able to.

Interesting. Contact the administrator. I know this happened to me once and it was some kind of tech mix up. And was fixed after I reportedly.

Since you are getting the "don't have permission to create tags" message, are you putting something in the tag field? If you are, you can only use existing tags, shown towards the bottom of this page: http://www.quiltingboard.com/tags/ Tag doesn't mean the same thing as thread. To start a new thread on the main page, click the "post new thread' button, type a title in the title field, type your message in the message area, IF it fits any of the tags shown on the tag listing, you can add it there (or leave blank if it doesn't), then click "submit new thread" button. If that doesn't work, there is a glitch, and you should contact administration.

Thanks. I was indeed filling out a couple words in the tags box -- thought it would help with the search engine. All it did was prevent the post.
