So Upset:
I am just so upset with this board. I haven't been able to get to the latest & most active threads the last few days. I know I'm not good on the computer, but I never used to have any trouble. I just don't know what to do any more.

Sorry you are having trouble. I would offer advice but I am computer challenged myself. I Google www.quiltingboard.com and it brings me to the main menu and I can access all the different sections from there. Some people advise getting Foxfire for your computer because some Microsoft programs don't work at times. Mine has improved since I got high speed. Some people like to use the archive feature at the bottom of the screen for the lastest threads.I hope you can find something that works for you.

I'm not sure how you used to get them, and I've only been here a few months, but I just usually click what's new at the top and view the latest that way.

I wonder what the trouble is. You posted something so that's good. Do you scroll to the bottom and click on archive? That's what I do.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Try switching your browser. I was having board troubles, until I switched from IE to Firefox.

I just skim through from the beginning and read the ones for each day that I am interested in. If it's one I've read before and want to read the newest posts I go to the end and page backward til I find the ones I've read before and go on from there. I'm pretty new and I'm sure there are more efficient methods but this works for me. Hope you are able to work things out so you aren't feeling so frustrated with the forum and can begin to enjoy it once again.

The best I have been able to do is click on What's New and then I check the dates before I open the thread. Hope this helps.

there is nothing wrong with the board.
some users are having trouble with the links sent in the daily emails.
come straight to the board.
skip the emails.
http://www.quiltingboard.com
add it to your favorites/bookmarks ... or
put a shortcut on your desktop ... or
make it your home page
once you break free of dependency on the emails you'll begin to see how much you were missing. ;-)
