I can't access the Pictures Archive, although I can get in by going to Home and clicking on Pictures.
I can also access all other sections through Archive, just not Pictures.
I get a message saying it's closed and to come back in an hour.

When I try to go the the archive section on the board I get the be back in 1 hour message. Is this just me?

I've never had this message and use the archives a lot

when a message suggests returning in an hour that's usually the best idea. i don't know what time it started working again but it's working now.

I getting the same message when I go to the pictures.

The message was there last night.
Sorry Patrice, but the same message is still there.
I still can't access Pictures through the Archive.

I tried logging out and logging back in but no luck.

I like to use the archives, but today and yesterday evening when I try to go to chit chat or or main I get the message. I can go to pictures and everything else just fine.

maybe try deleting your temp files & cookies?
