It seems more and more often threads are started in the Main section when they should be in Vintage, Chit-Chat, etc. All the threads are good material but would get more viewing in the right forum.

Isn't the Main Section for Quilting Related questions/problems?

Sometimes it is hard to know where to post something. If it's a picture, sometimes it has to go someplace else than in the picture section. We all do our best.

the best way i know to find the correct forum for posting is to click on the Home tab in the top menu bar. the forums are listed and the contents of each are described right below it.

I notice that the thread "In Search Of" states to "Post here if you are looking for something you want to buy or trade for." I have posted a thread where I was searching for a certain fabric moved to the general chit chat thread where it would not get the exposure I was looking for. Can anyone explain why?
