Default Waiting ages for posts to respond to mouse

This is happening with 2 different "mice" and has started happening in the last week. Worse today.
after a mouse click it takes 2 - 3 minutes to get a response.

Anyone else have this problem? No other program on my computer is acting this way.

thanks if you can help

my recent experience is that the board is 'sometimes' slow to respond, but it doesn't last that long. does your system need a windows, adobe, or other update. i think the programmers put a slow down in their update notice to force you to do it NOW... JMHO though.

Just thought of something also. If your mouse is wireless, maybe it needs a new battery! Otherwise, I'll yell for my DH for you or you can yell for yours if you have one. Or somebody!! Few curse words might help or set a trap for it. LOL!!!

tessagin, my 2nd mouse was bought yesterday and new batteries installed. QuiltnNan, this is beyond "slow"!! I've had "slow" before.

Mine is like that all the time for anything I click on. One of these days I'm going to have to take my computer in to find out what is going on. If I click on it again, the whole screen goes white. Drives me nuts!

If it's just this site then it's a problem here. I was having trouble a time or two and needed to reboot since the problem was happening on other sites as well. It ended up being our software. We got new and problem was solved. DH took care of that and I have no idea about the software.

Do you clear your cache and do other maintenance?

I had the same issue earlier yesterday. Today much better. Not sure what caused the problem... but it sure was frustrating.
