Default what's with the hot links?

Certain words in post are in blue and linked to Ebay - like one where someone mentioned a "dryer" 3 times and each time the word was turned into a link. Just because we are talking about dryers, doesn't mean we want to buy one on Ebay!!

This seems to be a recent development.

.All the blue words are by Vigilinks ? which generates income when you click on them. It has been about 2 months and I just don't click on them.

It's been happening for me for about six months now. The word sewing machine is always in blue print for me, same with the word iron. It's odd, but I just try not to accidentally click on it. I'm no computer tech whizz, so I couldn't say why this is.

Is That what that is? It was happening to me, and I was clueless.

In another thread chance posted a link to opt out.

Thank you, chance! No more annoying live links.
