Nanna--Pretty quilt. I too have some orientals I've been collecting. I've decided to use them for the "Spike your English" BOM (free) from quiltingonthesquare.com. There is a group on the QB that just started doing 2 a month....it is now a UFO of since I got behind. Oh well...one day!

Nanna - your quilt is just stunning!
Carrie - love your blocks. They are very intricate looking.

Carriem, it is not a UFO yet, you are a WIP that is going a little slow. You are getting rid of those UFOs, that is why this fell behind right?

Pretty Kimonos. It was well worth the wait.

I've been hand-sewing the bias edges on a buffet runner made from 10-minute blocks. Now I need to sandwich it and quilt feathers in each section. I plan to get good at doing feathers.

nanna-up-north - your kimono quilt is amazing! I have never seen anything like that...what fun you must have had picking out the fabrics for each block.

My latest UFO is Cool Sparkles and it will be donated to Project Linus. I'm obsessing over HST quilts lately and think I'll be digging into my 5" charm bins next year to make lots more.
