Princes: So envious! I made the Orca and the Celtic Sunrise mystery quilts and had such a good time. Which quilt are you going to be working on? I really like her pineapple one. I follow her blog and am in total awe of her energy and enthusiasm. Please let us know what it was like. Martina: Stopped coloring my hair when I retired 6 years ago. Since I only "rinsed" it I did not expect the total grey that emerged. Love it, no going back for me. The kids called me the Silver Fox. Sounded good to me. Terri: I am speaking for Wildyard, who originally started this thread. She says it is never to late to join and she makes everyone welcome. Come on in.

Oh man! Paper Princess, were you the one that started this? Sorry, it was a senior moment. I know the same goes for you.

Grey, white, silver, blonde. Yes to all and isn't it grand!

We will be doing the Tumalo Trail quilt. I spent a day cutting 1.5 inch strips from my scraps and off the ends of some of my yardage. A die cutter really helps with these!
Yes, I started this thread! I think I'm going to solicit suggestions for next year's guidelines. I just copied the ones that were used in previous years' challenges, but I think they can be revised.

Had some time to waste while waiting for youngest GS at playgroup. So off I go to LQS--bought 2 yds on sale for I don't know what, but will make a great purse!!

Princess: Let me see, how will our rules go? 1) Try not to buy fabric. 2) When you do fall off the wagon, come and brag about it to everyone that follows the thread but promise to do better until next time. Pictures are desirable. The Tumalo Trail quilt really lends itself to a true scrappy, would really like to see pictures. OK: I've noticed that our confessions are beginning to sound a lot like bragging.

I was in a quilt store. I bought 1 yard of fabric. It's one of the fabrics in a BOM that I'm working on. I'll probably use it and some of the scraps for a throw pillow to go with the quilt. I would say 1 yard of fabric in over a year is pretty good.

LOL, yeah, adding to your stash is adding to your stash no matter how much money you save. There will always be fabric on sale somewhere!!

Queen: You are one of the people I am in awe of. Since I have completed 8 bed size quilts out of my stash this year if nothing had been added at least there would be a dent. There is a noticeable change in my solids and purples. Maybe there are some new color choices in the future to use up some of the other colors. By the way found the colors I needed for the mystery quilt along. No purchases were made, I'm so pleased.
