Allietare! - Bonnie Hunter's 2015 Mystery Quilt
#274
So I have been collecting CHEDDARs and PLUMs color for some time now. I knew the instant I saw Bonnie's colors I would finally use them. My problem is, what to use as my "constant"! I first got the gray but I'm not just not liking gray. So I got a dark tealish print. I'm worried it will blend too much with the black. Then I have a piece of light teal w/flower and a piece of grungy green. The reason I sort of like the grungy green is, if you can see, there is a plum scuff in the fabric that may play with my theme.... I like the light teal but only have 3/4 yard and I don't remember where I got it.
Any ideas/input would be welcomed! And fingers crossed we don't use the constant tomorrow.....
(Sorry the pictures are so big. The smaller pixel size was fuzzy.)

Thanks everyone for the nice comments on my fabrics. They were the first ones I pulled and I simply thought "I like this" and stopped. It seems weird, tho, to be doing a Bonnie quilt with so few fabrics!
Joe'sMom, I love the black. It's a beautiful fabric! I have a Joe, too. :-)
SheriR, I like the first and third pictures with the grays. I like the coolness they bring. Will be interesting to see what others think. Your plums are totally awesome.
I always feel torn at MQ time because I can hardly wait for the clues, but since I'm a teacher it also means that my holidays off work are slipping by!

Sewplease, your fabrics are stunning, I'm really looking forward to seeing this one come together.
Joe'smom, I like both choices; keep in mind that if you use the green you will have a very Christmassy looking quilt. That might be fine, but if you don't want a holiday quilt, you may find that the black works better.

SheriR, that's going to be stunning. Have never used those colors together, but really like how they look. I like the grey; I also like the teal, but agree that it might not have enough contrast. I like the 3rd one, too, but it sounds like you don't have enough, unless you find more.
