Wow! NZQuilter I LOVE your quilt. The colors are perfect together. Congratulations on the pregnancy. I pray all goes well and your new bundle will love the quilt too.

Gagging on the green is not out of the norm. Hormones and pregnancy cause the brain to do strange things. When are you due?

Finished my last column of the main "body" of the quilt. Now on to the borders and binding. I took it all to work w/ me today to lay it out and decide on borders (I have a small house and no place to layout a whole quilt) I am excited really like how it has turned out both front and back. The even better news is I just have to make 3 more tri recs. I took pics of it laid out w/ the border but can't post it until I get home from work tomorrow.

Not finished w/ my version of En Provence yet, but have made some progress. The main body is completely finished, here is a pic of the front and back. Then there is a pic of how I am planning on doing the borders, and a close up of the planned borders. I only have to make 3 additional tri rec squares.

I love it, Kassaundra! It really turned out great; love how the back looks, too.

Mine second colorway is a big disappointment. It's just so weird looking with the blue background. I'm doing a small version (2x3), and have been working on a border I thought might help counteract the blue effect, but I'm afraid it's beyond saving. My machine needs servicing, but I'm hoping I can finish up with this first.

Have you posted a pic? I don't remember seeing it if you did. Maybe you could quilt heavily the blue areas you don't like w/ a colored thread specifically to alter the perceived color of the fabric

I posted a pic of one block on p 179. The single block doesn't look as bad as the six together, LOL.

I went back and looked, blue brown, cheddar and green? I see what you mean, they are a bit "choppy" looking. I would have been tempted to rearrange all the pieces into a different arrangement.

I have finally finished my En Provence - except for the label. So happy with this one, I'm keeping it for my bed...
