It's me - Beth33 - couldn't get on board so had to register again.

Am excited about challenge - should be fun.

Currently moving into new apartment - pretty busy
Will start quilt soon as possible

Am doing the Borg character "Hugh" from TNG as center with stars around.

Sounds great BethAgain. Looking forward to progress photos and reports.

Good luck with the move. I hope your quilting supplies are easily accessible.

Yeaaaaa for Franky taking shape!
Is that the start of his hands showing too?

Are the shows over now til later in the fall for you?
Whgich leaves with the suspicions that you and Franky will be having many dates the next while!

I'm going to be looking forward to seeing continuing progress reports!

Welcome back for a short period QuiltE.

I'm surprised, given how busy I am, that Franky is getting some love. No, those aren't his hands yet. Those are just a couple of different tan spider fabric squares that I am inserting to break up all the pale cream spiderweb background. There are a total of 8 tan squares.

Not that many more rows and you will start to see his hands. I'll let you know.

Another two rows last night.

One more craft fair Saturday and Sunday of this weekend and then Franky should really grow. I'm proud of myself. The woman that I did the 36 mugs for told me she needs another few sets immediately and I told her it would have to wait until October. She wasn't impressed but, tough. My monster needs me and I need some downtime.

One of these days, I'll show everyone the perfect fabric I found to back Franky and friends. I may even show you who his friends will be.

Here again and gone again ... that's me!!

BTW ... where is everyone?
This place is like a ghost house
... and surely I am not the only one who has gone AWOL?

Me too ... Im proud of your W4Me ... it's important to know how to say NO ... and after all the grief with her the other time, I would think your schedule is booked til the New Year and NOT October!!! Repeat business is good, though sometimes you have to ask, is it worth it? Besides can you get more glass?

Yes, Franky needs to know you still ♥ him!
And .... don't work too hard this weekend ... luckily you get Monday off and hopefully can grab some good R+R when you do!

See y'all next week!

I'm still keeping up with the posts but no time to work on my Doctor Who quilt. I have my background fabric (outer space theme with planets). Been working on stuff to bring in some money into the budget so my Doctor has to wait.

I do have my pictures of monsters for inspiration...just need the time to work on it.

Franky has hands. I didn't sleep well Friday night yet tried to sew a little of Franky Saturday morning before the craft fair. Big mistake. Franky's hands were really monstrous. I even started to fix it wrong! Figured it out on the way to the show and realized it was something small and stupid. All fixed now and, not only does Franky have hands, but his britches are finished and his suit jacket is starting to take shape.

Not all my seams are perfect but, hey, he IS a monster. I am more than halfway finished!! Yippee!!

Well, just stopped by to read and catch up. Go Frankie Go! I got to do a little quilting yesterday on my blocks I had waiting to be prepared. Got Toby larger for the center of my quilt. Hopefully can sew a little more and catch up tomorrow. I sliced my arm with my rotary cutter this afternoon so hubby put me on computer only no cutting or sewing for tonight. Almost got that vein. Glad I missed. Will be back soon with more to show.
