Fuzzykittenbutt - Adorable. There has obviously been a lot of thought put into the quilt. And they turned out great! Your friend and her soon-to-be new baby are extremely lucky.

Just finished the final Japanese sampler block to surround Franky.

Need to square a couple blocks up, then choose placement, which will be hard.

quilte it does help but the problem being is knowing how much fabric i will require to start and finish the project. i am kinda particular about knowing these things thanks for the response though i do appreciate it.

Well, Franky is surrounded by colourful blocks.

He's going to have to be patient again as I need to take a break from him until about mid-October. At least he has lots of company.

FuzzyKitty ... oh please do show us more! Absolutely Adorable!!!!

HGrammie ... I understand! What I do is draw it all out on paper, along with my measurements. Then add it all up according to what my plans are, making sure I add in the 1/4" seams. Plus, I always buy extra fabric, as I usually change plans in midstream as I see something coming together. There are so many different ways that you could cut apart a book panel and re-join them, that we really can't predict what you would need. It'll be a fun project to do. I have one I need to get done for a baby gift too.

W4Me ... wonderfully done! Colourful yet they all work together well.
So much for the one year project!! I predict a pre-Christmas finish!

    Welcome back QuiltE.

Maybe an early 2013 finish. It all depends on the paper-pieced blocks. The bottom zig zag block has 5 different spider fabrics in it. Every single block surrounding Franky has at least one spider fabric.

Thank you, brookemaire19. And Franky thanks you. After all, he is a courteous monster.

Maybe Franky can be an inspiration for others to work on their new buddies.

Either that or he'll be torturing us to get to work!

Thank you for the WElcome Back ... I think?
