Oh yes ... I will always make a purchase of some sort, whether it be staples such as Best Press? needles? or something frivolous and not-needed, such as fabric! There's always something a quilt er "just absolutely needs" ... isn/t there?

Yesterday I spent the day washing, ironing and folding all the new material I purchased for my stash. I went looking for blues on three different shopping ventures for the third Mystery train POST # 606 http://www.quiltingboard.com/blocks-...203100-61.html and ended up spending lil over 400.00 on tonals and blenders of all colors to add to my collection. Will finish ironing and folding today. Then I will work on Christmas gifts today. Have a great day all.

Jen

Isn't it fun to treat yourself to new stash fabric?
... I always say, "for inventory" when I buy extra yardage beyond the rewuired, and/or there's no specific plan!!

I checked your link and saw some Beautiful Blues ... though was hoping to see the whole scoop!
Photo here, Please!

I'm gone for the next couple of weeks ... so hope you'll share a pic here before I'm back!
Any new Patriotic fabrics?

Yes I did pick up some Red and Blue blenders so I guess those can be considered an addition to my Patriotic Fabrics. I still have a huge basket full to iron and wrap on to boards. Possibly might get some more ironing done today. I will take a picture of all the new fabrics once I have them all wrapped onto boards nicely. Im thinking I will have to pay a visit to the dollar store to pick up some more board material for all the new fabrics. I have removed some large print and Theme specific materials from boards I already have made that can be tucked into totes as it is not very universal. This way I can organize my fabrics by color on the shelves. Probably need to buy another bookcase also.

Today is DH and my wedding anniversary, he has all day plans for me, so not much getting done in the now dubbed "Sewing Loft"

Happy anniversary jenniky! Our 34th anniversary is the 19th of November!

??? for anyone who might know. Does Quilts of Valor accept quilts made RWB in Firefighter fabrics or only USA RWB for soldiers???

Thank you everyone. It was our tenth anniversary. Im on my second marriage my first one lasted twenty. We had a very special day with a wonderful lunch at a steakhouse and then just spent the day playing games together and laughing at memories.

Have a fab day all.. that's short for a fabric day.. LOL
