This contest is for anyone who would like to enter.
All skill levels are more than welcome. You don't have to make a complicated entry to win.
Sometimes it is the color that might catch someone's eye or the pattern used might be a favorite one.
I hope to see more of our members of all skill levels joining in.
Sometimes more is less. A more complicated pattern might look too busy or a simple pattern will stand out.
Quilting is a subjective thing and what one person likes may not be what another person likes.
So please don't feel you can't join because you haven't been quilting for years and years.
Variety is the spice of life ladies and gentlemen!!! So jump in and join our contests!!

You will make one just ONE quilt block for this Contest!
It can be any style/ any colors / any size you like

The one BIG rule is it MUST NOT HAVE BEEN SHOWN ONLINE BEFORE!
We want this contest to be fair and if yours has been shown then someone could vote by favoritism instead of by the best entry

2. One pic of your Fabric

under the first rule the # sign is used. I don't understand what it means. does it mean "number" and what Number does it refer to?

When Patrice posts the pictures for voting each pic has a number as in #1 or #2 so you can post which # you are voting for. so you need to vote by putting the number in your subject when you send your email to vote. Since I added a couple more catagories to vote for you should put the number for the one you want to vote for for best in show and then a / and your vote for whichever # you choose for best pattern and a / and your number(#) for the best colors.

Is this just an unfinished block?

Or

Is it a piece that is "finished"??

Bear it is one quilt block. Just like when you swap one. It is a quilt block that is ready to put into a quilt. I guess I don't think I've ever seen a quilt block any other way.
