January's Quilting Board Quilt Contest - It's Coming Up Soon!
 
Just a reminder that our next quilt contest will be open for admissions Jan. 1 to Jan 15!!

This one is an easy one for all those Bow Tuck people or Tote people!! I thought since Christmas is so stressful January needed to be a bit more laid back and an easy to do contest!!

So keep in mind you can begin to enter your pictures of your tote or Handbag on Jan 1st!!

I hope to see lots of entries this next month!!

Style:........................No limits
Size:.........................No smaller than 12”/ No larger than 24”

Just to refresh your memory here are the rules!


Everyone is welcome to enter a quilt as long as they follow the rules:

Rules:…………………… ………....................……….Prizes:

1. One entry per member per contest………..…..First Prize: $20
2. Entry must NOT have been shown online…..Second Prize: $10
3. All entries must be kept anonymous.
4.The deadline for entering your quilt is Midnight (Eastern US Time) on the 15th of each month.

To Enter:

send the following by email to: [email protected]

1. Your Board name
2. One clear photo that shows the whole front.
3. One clear photo that shows the whole back.
4. Four clear closeup photos that show the details you want highlighted
from different sections of the front. (four different sections)
if you didn't design it yourself, please give credit to the designer
and tell us the pattern name.
5. if somebody else did the quilting for you, please giver her/him credit as
well.

(please note: check the copyright restrictions carefully if you are using a commercial pattern you didn't publish yourself. The Quilting Board will not assume any liability if an entrant violates restrictions.

Responsibility, accountability, and liability for any violations of copyright law will fall exclusively and entirely upon the entrant. We will also have no choice but to disqualify and delete any entries challenged by the rightful owner of the copyright.)


Voting: Please Read!!!

1. Votes must be cast by email to [email protected]
You will vote using the subject line. The subject line must read:

Wall Hanging - I Vote For #[insert entry number here]
(change the contest name each time you enter a new contest)

2. State your board name in the body of the email.
3. Votes posted as comments in this topic will not count.
4. Votes emailed that don't have the correct subject line and your board
name in the body will not count.

Yes I did. I have a hard time putting real names to board names. I apologize for not letting you know. I loved it all! I will definately use it! Thanks

I hope we are getting some entries! I know the Holidays take a toll on everyone's time but hopefully we have a few who will enter.
