That quilt is smashing!! Never have i seen this pattern before. Did you make it up or is it a pattern that you found? I really like it a lot!! (I guess you could tell that!)Originally Posted by paintmejudy

I pieced them together into 8" x 10" blocks. was going to alternate with plain blocks but had so many strips left I doubled the number of blocks i did and made twin size quilt of those string blocks. I have made 3-4 scrap quilts since--still bin is overflowing. the scraps multiply worse than bunnies on fertility drugs. but I will still keep stitching.

Count me in..just last night was looking at my scraps and sketching out a plan..might be a little rough, since I am pretty new at this, but I look forward to the challenge..should be fun

I'm wondering too! I have been soooo good for 2 yrs to NOT buy anymore fabric! But here & there if something is really cheap, its gone. Such as: found 5 yds of a pretty pink for $2 at a thrift store! Seems like the stacks don't go down very fast.... I need to tell my kids what to do with my STUFF when I pass. They'll have no clue.,,,,
