I think I had to purchase the backing as I didn't like anything I had to use. Does this stil make it 90% or not???????????????
WHOA! That's gorgeous!

After I received 3 boxes of scraps, ufo's and orphan blocks from a good quilting friend, this is the project for me. I am in, although I don't guarantee I will be first or even 12th or 112th. Will post a finished project though sometime in the next year! Fingers crossed. I think there are going to be a lot of scrappy quilts in my future.

What a gorgeous quilt! I love the colors and the design is very cool. I am currently turning most of my scraps into blocks like those, with the idea that eventually I will have a vast collection from which I can make interesting designs...and now I am encouraged that it will happen!

Jillaine, your quilt is pretty. I had joined the UFO group, but didn't keep up - I think I finished two projects since the start. Of course, I can always jump back in, but haven't.

The Asian Scrappy is from the Quilter's World Magazine, October 2011 for anyone who is interested. It is on the front cover of that issue. I followed their pattern exactly, no changes (like I usually do)

I'm in too...part of my 2012 resolution...so more incentive! Posting this pic a couple of weeks ago...but all scraps, overages - and the shell fabric had been a remnant in my stash for about 8 years. Just needs backed and quilted - will be a beach quilt for my DSIL's folks who just moved to Florida.

PenniF, pretty quilt. I'm not really a blue person, but this is a nice combination of colors. In laws should love it.

Can I use my husband's shirts? Does that count as stash.

As I wrote the description of the quilt I just posted in the Pictures Forum I realized that it qualified as a 100% stash-made quilt (except the batting). Rather than rewrite the description I will now attempt a cross-post...http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t197427.html

I hope to produce additional stash-buster quilts in the near future...
