This isn't Evie, but you have done a fabulous job with my very first UFO! I bought this fabric and started it in 1994ish but never got it done. You had it for a month maybe and look what you've done! I am so happy that you did something with it, I just don't know what to say.

I know...fellow quilters, raid your UFO stash. You may have something just right for someone else to finish. Pass 'em on and get 'em done!!

Default The Cut up

Another UFO done. It's called The Cut-up by Pieced tree patterns. I started this last summer to donate to the Hospice annual ball. I just got it quilted and bond this past month. This make #4 UFO's. Lastest count is 4 that I have left to get done, but think that will be awhile as my LA is down. Darn, I really wanted to get more done.

If anyone is interested in the pattern. The pattern comes on a 3" x 5" card (instructions & all) Super simple and cheap. www.piecedtreepatterns.com

This quilt also applies to the scrap quilt challenge. This quilt was made from left overs. The back is from wonder fabric (wonder why I ever bought it) and extra blocks.

I've found that with the open living/dining areas now so popular, the runner looks good on dining table or buffet & the quilt for the sofa. Also, the runners are good for the bedroom dresser & the quilt for the bed. Lots of choices this way.

Ranger, love your scrappy...so bright & cheery. I used to struggle to quilt on my Janome 9000 (love it, but that harp area is tiny!), but I bought a Janome 6600 almost a year ago just for the larger area for quilting...what a difference, no more fighting! Love it!!!
Almond...you've been a busy girl too! Beautiful, front & back!!!

I do that too...before you know it you're ready to put another quilt together & using those scraps that keep multiplying no matter how many things you make with them!

LOL Wonderful finishes. You're getting so much done while recuperating.
