Quilter Momma, I am in quilting envy....Your quilting on the wall hanging is gorgeous. I am in awe that you are new to long arming. You are very talented.

WOW KRIS!!!! Ring that bell. Is that what it takes, be off the board for a bit to get things done? Eh, maybe some. I work hard to discipline myself on the weekends. LOL.

Oh Judith1005, you are so sweet. Thanks. I actually did that one on the Bernina if you can believe that. I have a quilt on the longarm and did not want to wait to get it done so did on domestic. I was a bit slower but the micro stipple was better. When get some extra cash may switch to Edge Rider Wheels on the Gammill to aid in the micro stipple. For now, though enjoying learning on it. I am getting real good at the pantos. Daughter claimed the dresdan plate on the machine now. It is an old swap set. Will show hopefully next week when done. Slow on that binding stuff but once carpal tunnel surgery done, will be faster again.

Oh wow your staying right on track! (The iris is my favorite also!) Ring the bells again!

These are my February UFO's.
#1 is a mystery quilt I started in 1999!
#2 is a tool panel
#3 is my granddaughters birthday gift....while other grandma's are doing pink and cute, I've got 'day of the dead' for the 19 year old. To each her own, I guess.
#4 is some fabric I picked up at our guild yard sale for $2.00. I did add a little more to it, though.
I am enjoying seeing all the UFO's being finished!

#2 is a wall quilt to hide my daughter's ugly walls (she lives in an old house and the walls are not the best).
#3 was started in 2007 and is based on an antique quilt I saw in a magazine.
#4 is a small baby quilt. No story on this one!
#5 is a Halloween quilt made with blocks received in a block swap last year on the QB.
Awesome Kris! They're beautiful! Hooray X 2! Ring the bell X 2! I especially like the one that you made out of the fabric from the guild garage sale!

Thanks for the comments, ladies. I finished 19 UFO's so far, and hope to do six more by the end of May. Now, wouldn't ya know it? Our guild has decided to do a UFO challenge for the next year, with prizes for the oldest, most finished, etc. I should have waited!
But, hey, there are still at least 28 more UFO's lurking about!

Just save a couple that are real old for that one or one for each category of the prizes that way you can finish the rest in the mean time and then get the prize for the most finished projects.

So, I was poking around in some of my purse fabrics (needed to make some purses for the upcoming craftshow) & OMG! At the bottom was a surprise UFO that I had totally forgotten about. I wonder why...the story is that it was what I was working on at the time of 9/11/2001! I guess it got put aside & totally forgotten about until yesterday. Figured since all the piecing of the newly made fabric was done (scraps of cordouroy & denim with 1" black between) that it was about time this purse went to a new home. I didn't put pockets or anything on the outside as I wanted the piece to shine for itself, but inside there are 2 pockets & penholder. I'm glad I finally got it done. The purse with it is from a piece of fabric hubby picked up at a yardsale he somehow hit without me along last year.

Congrats on the finishes. Great work.
I really like the 'quilting with friends' one.
