Do use Heirloom seeds-and not hybrids. You can then save the seeds for the next year. Share with friends too. Google heirloom seeds or heirloom tomatoes-fun finds! Seedsavers.org is good too.
i have 2 raised beds and love them. make sure you rotate where you plant things, especially plants prone to virus diseases like tomatoes.
i used tomato cages as a support for sugar snap peas. just planted peas in a circle around the cages.

Between the blocks- 1/2" finished,so cut 1" x 5 1/2"
The outer skinny sashing between the center and the tri border is 1/4" finished. Cut 3/4" wide.

Thank you! The pattern is not hard at all. Just sew strips.
I start with a 2 inch block, cut from strips. Then you just attach another, cut, press, proceed to the next one and on and on until you have the desired size block. Mine are about 10.5 inches.

I find the best way to keep them square is to square them up after the addition of each strip. Accurate cutting and seams are vital
