This is how to make a tube quilt. Uses (2) 2 1/2" strips and (1) 4 1/4" strip. Sew the two 2 1/2" strips together lengthwise. Press. Place on top of one 4 1/4" strip. Sew along both long sides. Cut triangles using the diagonal line on your 9 1/2" ruler. Ta Da!! You can get eight cuts from this one wof strip set. That will make 2 1/2 blocks. Beautiful!!

This scrappy quilt is really pretty! You foundation piece scraps of the same color, then frame it with a matching solid color. It turns out to be Quilt as you Go because you're stitching the scraps to the foundation and batting at the same time.
