I'm new to paper piecing and found a great video that might help others like me that are just learning this method. I always appreciate when people share something with me that makes my life easier.
Here is the link to making a string quilt.
This takes you to quilt blocks for each and every US state.
This is how to make a tube quilt. Uses (2) 2 1/2" strips and (1) 4 1/4" strip. Sew the two 2 1/2" strips together lengthwise. Press. Place on top of one 4 1/4" strip. Sew along both long sides. Cut triangles using the diagonal line on your 9 1/2" ruler. Ta Da!! You can get eight cuts from this one wof strip set. That will make 2 1/2 blocks. Beautiful!!
