1 box chocolate cake mix
1 bag caramels
1 stick oleo
1/2 cup milk
1 bag (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts (your choice)
Mix cake mix as directed on package. Place 1/2 of batter in greased 9x13 baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Melt caramels, oleo and milk in glass container in microwave. Pour over baked cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Top with remaining batter and return back to oven. Bake at 250 degrees for 20 minutes and then at 350 degrees for 10 additional minutes. Your choice to eat as is or top with icing!!
