That I don't know I've never made this I just know what they are. But with all the liquids I would think yes they get somewhat soft.

I gave the ingredients to my son as an Easter basket. He ate all the Chinese noodles w/o making the casserole. So I made it for him with crushed crackers instead. Very good. I can't wait to try it with the Chinese noodles!

9" X 13" . Yes the noodles do get soft

Oh, that answered my question too and I have those..I put them on my tossed salad all the time....sounds like a hood recipe....and I have a half of a roasted chic in fridge...hm, maybe tonites supper.... Thanks

Small can evaporate milk? Is that the can about the size of soup can or is there a smaller one?

So I went to the storeand bought regular size and there was a small, so I bought that too.
First put in the small can, but it seemed like it needed more liquid, so I opened and used about 1/3 of other can......was ok...just my daughter and I...she suggested maybe next time use a noodle type pasta and some kind of veggie .....we eat lots of veggies here.....and those onion things that we put on top of green bean casserole...so I shall try that next time....yes there will be a next time...good way to use up leftover chicken...which is what I did.....
