1 medium-size can applesauce
1 pkg. red gelatin (strawberry is good)
2 Tbsp. sugar
juice of one orange
7 oz. of 7-Up
Heat applesauce and add gelatin and sugar. Add other ingredients, adding
7-Up last. Pour into 8 x 8 x 2 pan and chill until set. Serve with a
small dollop of mayo flavored with a small amount of French dressing.
This is a fairly dense salad, and easily goes into individual tart pans or
other molds suitable for gelatin.
