2# ground beef, cook in large skillet over med. heat
until evenly browned, stirring to crumble.
add:
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup finely chopped celery
Stir in and cover the skillet. Cook until tender, about 5 min.
Drain any grease if necessary.
Now add and stir in:
1 can condensed tomato soup, (Do Not dilute)
1/4 cup ketchup
1 TBs white vinegar
2 TBs brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder, or more if desired
Heat to a simmer over low heat, uncovered.
Cook until thoroughly heated, stir frequently to prevent burning.
Spoon the hot beef mixture onto buns and serve.
This mixture is not soupy like many recipes are.
The recipe can be halved if this is too much, or just cool and freeze the leftovers.

Oh my gosh, what great suggestions. We are having meatloaf for Christmas, we did turkey for Thanksgiving. I lost count of how many people are coming. Now I can make a few different types of meatloaf, peppers, onions and spice is not for everyone especially the little ones. This is a duh moment, why didn't I think of mixing it up?
