For a quick mix I just buy a box mix. Just as good if made from scratch!

Oh yes, I will gladly share a recipe. I had found one for homemade brownies that was quicker than a box mix and my hubby really liked them. Well, I have lost the recipe!! I am in trouble, LOL! They were really good too.

Here is a very simple and good recipe I go to time and time again. Actually stirred them up yesterday afternoon for supper and sent the leftovers home with DD and her family. It makes a 9x9 pan. I make the whole recipe in the pan I melt the margarine in.
Brownies
1/2 cup margarine, melt.
Add 6 teasp cocoa and stir.
Allow to cool down a bit.
Add 1 cup sugar and 2 eggs, beat well
Add 1 tsp vanilla, dash of salt and 1 cup flour.
Mix well.
Pour into parchment lined pan.
Bake 325 no more than 20 min. Depending how fudgie you like them.
Sometimes I ice them or sprinkle with icing sugar. Yesterday they were plain and great! (you can add chopped nuts or raisins if you like)
If I want to bring them up a notch, when there is a couple min of baking time left I put a layer of either large marshmallows (halved) or minis on top. Place back in the oven for a minute or two until they puff a bit.
Take out and when cool frost with chocolate icing, they are good.
