Default Bunny Cake

I wanted something simple but cute for dessert tonight. I decided to go with chocolate cake bunny.

I baked my round cake yesterday and cut it in half today. I iced between the halves with Cool Whip and then iced the whole surface with more Cool Whip. I cut out the ears and whiskers from a styrofoam plate. Put a marshmallow for the tail and 3 jelly beans. Here us what it looked like before icing.

Friend of ours makes this for Easter each year. Very cute, indeed.

Wow! That brings back memories. A neighbor made it for me when I was little. I made them for my daughters and will probably start next year for my first grandson!
