Wacky Spice Cake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

In a 9x9 square cake pan

1 1/2 C Flour
1/2 C White Sugar
1/2 C Brown Sugar
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Cloves, Ginger & Nutmeg each

Blend with a fork, make three wells place

6 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Vinegar
1 tsp Almond Extract

Pour 1 cup of cold water in and mix.

Bake for approx 30 min.

sounds good!! I'm always on the lookout for cakes to make in 8" square pans.!!! thanks - I'll be trying this one! :mrgreen:

thanks...wacky cake is an old favorite but never heard of wacky spice cake..sounds good..

Finally got to make this today and we loved it..thanks so much for sharing the recipe!

Sue, what is your recipe for Wacky Cake? Like others on here I am always on the lookout for new cake recipes I can make from scratch! thanks...and Blessings to u and urs
