This was a grand prize contest winner many years ago!! It looked so delicious, I just had to get the recipe!

Celebration Cheese Pie

Crust:

15-18 shortbread cookies, finely crushed
2/3 cup melted butter

Layer 1:

2 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 cups whipped topping
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter

Layer 2:

4 oz. cream cheese, softened
4 cups whipped topping
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 oz. German Sweet chocolate, melted
whipped cream for garnish

Crust:

In a bowl, stir together cookies and butter with fork til moist; then press into an 8 or 10-inch pie pan. Freeze.

Layer 1:

Beat together all ingredients, spread onto frozen crust and freeze for 5 minutes.

Layer 2:

Beat together all ingredients except chocolate. Stir in chocolate. Place this mixture on top of peanut butter layer, top with whipped cream and refrigerate until firm. :D

Enjoy!

Recipe sounds very yummy indeed. I'm not familiar with "whipped topping" can you explain what that would be? Thanks and I look forward to making this.

Whipped topping would be Cool Whip in the frozen food dept.
