My niece can't have cocoa because of migraines but she does get cacao bars from the health food stores.

I sure loved reading this! I will see what I can find next time I'm near a health food store.

I think it's confusing what you're getting because the back of a chocolate bar I have here (from before I figured out the link with the migraines) says "85% cacao solids" then the ingredients list only talks about cocoa.

I drink Calm it is a magnesium drink and it mixes with water. It's an excellent source of Magnesium! Check it out on Amazon. Or look for it at your local health food store

I drink it too! Get it on Amazon. Works for me in several ways. Calm/sleep/bones. And digestion. Keeps me regular.

Question....are those taking mag taking other supplements as well? Read a quick note stating, if taking mag one should then supplement other vitamins and minerals also. Just wondering...

I think that you should only supplement what you're not getting enough of via your diet - not supplement for the sake of supplementing. (Despite what the supplement industry would like us to believe) Magnesium controls the absorption of other things - calcium for one. As such, a calcium deficiency can actually be a magnesium deficiency. I like to try one thing at a time and see if it does what I need it to. The main reason to supplement magnesium is that we've depleted the soil of a lot of it, so it's really hard to get enough via diet. Other things - calcium and Vitamin D for instance - are added to a lot of things so are more likely to not need to be supplemented.

Although something like Magnesium supplements sound like a good thing, they are not for everyone and should not be taken without your health being assessed by a professional.

I am one of those who cannot take Magnesium supplements. Magnesium has very adverse side effects for me. I was under the care of a Healthcare professional, and tried a form of Magnesium that is generally tolerated by people with IBS, but I cannot tolerate it.

Magnesium can also interact with medications.
