HI - this is kind of an unusual request, but does anyone have recipes, or suggestions for converting recipes, for making cookies in the microwave?
Backstory - I cook on a wood stove, and several months out of the year I am NOT about to get it hot enough to bake in the oven. I do like cookies though and I do have a large microwave.
I am hoping for real cookies, not the kind where you mix cold cereal and chocolate chips or some such things.
Thanks in advance!

I don't believe you can bake cookies in a microwave unless the recipe is made specifically for the microwave. I would google microwave cookies and see if any recipes come up. Good luck.

I've never made cookies in the microwave ... but you can do it in a toaster oven.

Enjoy!
These recipes look good enough to eat. I'm thinking of all the college students who only have microwave ovens. I'm booking this site.

I have made brownies and cakes in the microwave. but I never heard of regular cookies being done that way. Let us know if you find a good recipe. I have just a window air conditioner and can't use the oven in the bad heat. Mary

Quick and easy cookies:

1 C sugar
1 C light corn syrup
1 C peanut butter
8 oz Fritoes
Spread Fritoes on a dish. Bring sugar and corn syrup to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Stir peanut butter into sugar mixture and pour over Fritoes.

My mother cooked on a wood burning stove for a number of years. (Early 1940's) Really nice in the winter but hard on everyone in the summer. And no microwaves then. Goodluck
