Ran across an old favorite recipe today!!!
Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies! I had a client that would make these, took me a few years to get the recipe.
They are YUMMY!!!

I split the dough and added choc chips to one half and raisins to the other.

Ok, thanks for the picture of those scrumptous looking cookies. Do WE have to wait years to get the recipe???

OOOPS!!!
Thanks MOONPI for the stern reminder!!!

3/4 cup vegetable shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup water ( I added a couple more tblspn)
1 tsp vanilla
MIX until Creamy
Add
3 cups oats (uncooked Old fashioned)
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tspn soda
1 tsp salt
chocolate chips (no measurement given)
drop by round tspn on grease cookiesheet
bake at 350 12-15 mins (I did 12)

ENJOY!!!!

I haven't started my holiday baking yet, I just might have to add these to the list, that is if I get any baking in this year.
