My sis sent me this recipe the other day after tellin me about it over the phone and causing some serious drooling on my part.

WHAT YOU NEED,,

2 tubes of crescent rolls ,,
2-- 8oz. pkgs cream cheese {softened },,
1 cup sugar,,
1&1/2 teaspoon vanilla,,
1 stick butter melted,,
1/4 cup cinnamon & sugar ,,,,,

WHAT TO DO ,,

preheat oven to 350 ,,
lightly spray 9x13 pan with pam { or any pan coating you have on hand) * I used butter*
mix cream cheese,sugar and vanilla until creamy, set aside,,,
take one tube crescent rolls and press into pan and up the sides
{about half way}
**make sure to seal the seams**
spread the cheese mixture over the bottom crust ,,
take the last roll of crescent rolls and unroll on top of cheese mixture ,,
{unroll before you place on top or it will stick to cheese mixture and then you have a mess }
pour melted butter over the top crust then sprinkle with cinnamon & sugar bake 25-30 min...
let cool completely & You want them room temp before cutting*
store in fridge ENJOY

*NOTE* OMGGGGG If you like cream cheese you'll LOVE!!!!!! these.

Gram crackers or oreo's would Prolly work or nilla wafers even
(let me know how it turns out if ya try with one of these)

only made them once so far and followed the recipe.
Next time tho I'm going to use less sugar in the filling and on top was a bit of sugar overload for me and maybe less butter as well.

I just brought these to a potluck lunch today. My gosh, were they a hit. Everyone wanted the recipe. I drizzled chocolate glaze on top, just to make it a little more festive.
Thanks again for this recipe.

I was thinking instead of adding the cin/sugar to the top, after baking to top with some canned cherries or other fruits. We had a bakery here at one time that made something simular. I swore I was not venturing out to any stores again this week but these do sound very good and would be nice Christmas morning.
