I love decorating sugar cookies! I made a video tutorial on how to use a powdered sugar icing to decorate a beehive, a bumblebee, and a ladybug.

It's posted on my blog here:

During the quilt show here one year, my friend and I made "quilt cookies". We used 1/2" thick sugar cookie squares 4"x4" and decorated them like quilt blocks using royal icing. They sold like crazy! It was a fund raiser for our sons to to a band function...gosh what moms do for their kids. It would have been way cheaper and easier I think in the long run to just have given them the money...but dang we had some cool cookies.

I added a poll to my blog about what you think my next video tutorial should be about. Check it out and vote!
