Does anyone know what this is?
Hope it's OK to ask here, although it's not a recipe. It does look like something that would be used in the kitchen, but I don't know what it is.

I have one very large one for fried pies. I use pre made pie crusts in the box. Fill with filling, wet the crust edges, fold over and crimp.
Filling my grandmother used:
Cook cut up apples or peaches, simmer until soft and tender. Mash into thick paste. Add sugar, cinnamon and a little lemon juice. Fry pies in oil coated cast iron skillet until crust is golden brown. Or coat crust in melted butter and bake until golden brown . She used dried fruit with a little water to simmer.

I bought mine several years ago in three sizes. They are used to make pierogies and ravioli. I also make mini fruit pies with them using store bought pie crust and canned fruit filling....easy and quick dessert!
