Default Easy chicken recipe

This tastes like you've put lots of work and ingredients into it. So easy.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease baking dish.

Mix together: 1 bottle (8oz) wishbone Russian dressing
1/2 (or more) envelope onion soup mix
1 cup apricot preserves

Take 8- 10 chicken thighs and dip each in the above sauce. Place in baking pan and pour the remaining sauce over chicken. Turn and baste after 30 min. Cook for another 20 min.

*I use boneless, skinless thighs but other may be used.

I love chicken recipes. Hubby and I are a quest to lose a few pounds (not wait until the new year!) and we both love chicken and fish. I will try this and let you know if we like it. Sounds yummy!

I have made this in the crockpot but used cranberry sauce instead of the apricot preserves.

This does sound good. My neighbor just gave me some apricot/jalepeno preserves and I was not quite sure what to use it for, but this will be perfect. The chicken will be a little "kicked up" from the jalepeno's. YUM!

I used to make this years ago. Family loved it. Thanks for reminding me!

It does sound yummy... and better yet, super easy. I can envision mine over steamed rice with some steamed broccoli. : )

That would be too salty for my with my very high BP. I will substitute T. of low sodium beef bullion and some dried onion flakes. The cranberry sauce sounds good too. Thanks for the ideas!!
