Eggless, Milkless, Butterless Cake

Ingredients

* 2 cups water
* 1 cup sugar
* 1 cup shortening
* 1 tsp cloves
* 1 tsp cinnamon
* 1 tsp salt
* 1 package raisins
* 3 cups Flour
* 1 tsp soda
* 1 to 2 cups chopped pecans
Directions

Boil raisins, water, sugar and shortening 5 min; cool. Add spices, soda, flour and mix well; add chopped pecans. Pour into two loaf pans and bake @ 350 for 1 hour. Cool, wrap in foil, refrigerate for 2 days before serving.
