This is my favorite ham recipe. It's easy and a great crowd pleaser.

I’m glad the recipe came in handy for you. Let me know what you think of it. It turns out very tender and is a nice change from my usual ham with honey, brown sugar, mustard and cloves. In the fall when apples are in season it goes good with Paula Dean’s baked beans with apples.

After trying it, I think I like the more traditional recipes.

I have one based on lemon lime soda which is pretty good.

Thanks for letting me know. Hope you liked it a little bit. The lemon lime ham sounds interesting. This is the first recipe I ever made with soda – before that it sounded too strange to try.
