JFYI, the creator of this recipe had tried dozens of times to perfect the recipe! I believe she's got it! I love the nutmeg too as someone else suggested and I believe it's the key to putting the zing in this Alfredo dish! Also, I've used other pastas too so consider using shells, spaghetti, rotini or penne and rigatoni! They are all wonderful in this dish! Thanks everyone!

You can post it on this thread! They will probably move it back to Recipes anyway. TFSYR!

It's sounds so yummy, surely I will try this recipe! I will put shrimp and chicken, or scallop. Thanks for sharing!

I made this again last night and realized I needed to tell you about the recipe calling for 1 tsp. of garlic which is alot! You should alter this to your taste. I think for 4 servings that the ratio is off, unless you are a gungho garlic lover! I think it should be about 1/4 tsp., the same measurement as the basil. I upped the garlic from the 1st time I made it and I only used about 1/4 tsp. and still I thought it was too heavy tasting of garlic.

I never go by the measurement of the spices in recipes. I always eliminate the salt in every recipe. So just be careful on using a full tsp. of garlic! It might ruin the dish! lol.

Rosebird has the best idea! Add the shrimp, chicken or scallops!
